Fix over-ear headphones?

I have a Sony MDR-V150 Headset, which works great, except for one problem. One day, i was mulching leaves outside, when a leaf that was on the engine thingy caught on fire. Now i happen to have had my headphone wire running through my shirt, so when i ripped my shirt off to douse it, the plastic band that toes over my head snapped in a few places. where the headphones connect to the band through a screw, is okay, it's a little above that area that they break. I'm wondering if there's a way of replacing this band cheaply, or a creative way of borrowing/creating/whatevering using them. Thanks!
