Liked and unliked (School) ,How Douse the School system work?

Umm in School i was always the Outcast ): i thout it was becaues my look where bad and stuff So i Change the way i look.... now everyone likes me and i feel like it is becaues of my look :/ im just wondering why..When i was not attracktive why did no one like me ): and now that i am attracktive Everyone like me (I DO NOT GET THE School system)
